Who is Pantone?

Pantone is an American corporation based in New Jersey and founded in 1866. It is the originator of the Pantone Matching System: each shade or hue is inventoried using a special formula and given a name. For more than 50 years, Pantone has inspired designers, brands and all those who want to know new trends, find the most appropriate shade for a wide variety of creative projets in fields such as fashion, product design or architecture. The Pantone Matching System, also known as the “colour chart”, is based on a colour palette created in a way that every single colour can be exactly reproduced as many times as necessary.
