The new SSDr bar chair in recycled plastic completes our range of high chairs. Thanks to its height of 65cm, it is perfectly suitable for a central island or a worktop. This bar chair can be used in the kitchen or in the dining room.
The SSDr 65cm bar chair can be used with our 90cm wall dining table or our 90cm table leg and wall BRACKET pack.
The SSDr bar chair, a new high seat by TIPTOE
The seat and backrest of the bar chair have been designed for daily use and ensure maximum comfort. The SSDr bar chair is a high version of our SSDr chair and its unique design.
Determined as ever to make sustainable furniture from existing materials, recycled plastic is an innovative and highly resistant material, which also happens to be a vector for the future of furniture.
The SSDr bar chair is unique and durable. Its timeless design makes it a piece that you will never grow tired of having. It will stand the test of time, both in terms of its aesthetics and the durability of its materials, and it can be used for years in public and private spaces.
Eco-design and sustainability
Durable materials and product lifecycle
The bar chair SSDr in recycled plastic has been designed with a view to keeping our environmental impact in check throughout the product’s life cycle.
- The backrest and seat of the chair are made of recycled plastic PP (polypropylene) from waste recycling.
- The legs are made of steel, a material that is both very resistant and infinitely recyclable (it’s the most recycled material in the world).
- This chair has few components, all useful, robust and easily repairable if necessary.
- We provide flatpack delivery to limit our carbon footprint during storage and shipping, and our packaging is made of 80% recycled paper.
A bar chair 100% made in Europe
From the beginning, we have chosen responsible production that is 100% European, alongside partners with exceptional know-how with whom we have established long-term relationships.
The recycled plastic seat and backrest of the bar chair are made in France. Our French family-run workshops near Chamonix design the precision mechanical parts and the pieces for assembly. The steel legs are made in Lithuania.
The final assembly is carried out in France in an ESAT, a medical and social establishment which works for the social and professional integration of people with disabilities.

Care instructions
For the seat and backrest in recycled plastic, a simple cleaning with a damp sponge and a soft cloth is enough. Our powder-coated steel legs are durable and designed to last, so they do not require any special maintenance. If necessary, you can clean them with a microfibre cloth and clean water.
