A unique and durable coffee table

With its unique design, the oblong coffee table VENEZIA, composed of 4 table legs 43 cm and a recycled plastic top diameter 100cm, will sublimate your living room and will seduce your guests. The table top is made from a hundred yogurt pots.

Each table top is unique: the color and patterns may vary from one tray to another, which is the charm of this recycled plastic collection.

Terrazzo inspiration and oval shape

At TIPTOE, we want to demonstrate that it is possible to create objects from recycled plastic that are beautiful, timeless and durable. Our challenge was to go beyond recycling by creating exceptional objects that completely forget the primary function of plastic.

The top of the oblong coffee table VENEZIA is made from a hundred yogurt pots. This explains the white color of the top. If you think you’re looking at Terrazzo, you’ll notice that the colorful gold and silver fragments of the labels are reminiscent of the famous mineral.

Manufacturing process

The point of this collection was to radically change the initial lifespan of the raw material. To move from a product used for an extremely short, ephemeral period of time (yoghurt pots or packaging) to a worthwhile, solid item!

The tables and shelf units in our collection are long-lasting and have been designed to be useful for several generations. It’s a continuous cycle: we transform existing material, which itself can be further recycled when it is no longer useful!

The tabletops of the collection are manufactured using an innovative process : the plastic waste collected is reduced to chippings and then pressed (without any binding agent) so as to form a board. The resulting articles are innovative and futuristic items of furniture!

Care instructions

Recycled plastic is a delicate material that should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. The use of aggressive chemical products is not recommended to avoid damaging the surface. Steel does not require any special maintenance. If necessary, it can be cleaned with a microfibre cloth.
