UNIT: The storage system evolves with a steel version

UNIT is a modular storage system, designed to adapt to any space thanks to its different formats. Since the launch of the collection in January 2024, the studio has been working on a steel version, available now.

To highlight this new range, we decided to photograph the collection in a space designed by the Heros architecture studio. A place where the rough lines of concrete mingle with the warmth of wood. This contrast between modernity and softness creates a refined, warm atmosphere in which the collection blends perfectly.
A modular storage system
“UNIT” echoes the interaction of modules to create an aesthetically pleasing, scalable system. Designed for unrestricted modularity, this new steel structure, made up of ladders and shelves, forms the basis for intuitive, visible construction.
The UNIT system offers different heights from UNIT 01 to UNIT 06, from 40 cm to 215 cm.
A touch of lightness: Pale Blue.
For this collection, the studio imagined a palette of three monochrome colors: Cream White, Graphite Black and Pale Blue. The latter, new to the collection, is distinguished by its delicacy and luminosity. A fresh hue that breathes balance and softness into your spaces.
From UNIT 01 to UNIT 03: base units
Ranging in height from 40 cm to 110 cm, with the option of adding a 10 cm riser, UNIT 01 to 03 units are multifunctional. Designed to adapt to your space, they can be transformed into an entrance unit, TV stand…
From UNIT 05 to UNIT 06: wall units
For UNIT 05 to 06, configurations become more imposing, ranging from 180 cm to 215 cm in height. With the option of adding up to 3 additional columns, UNIT can be transformed into a bookcase, china cabinet, desk… adding a touch of grandeur to your interior.

- Simple, efficient assembly
The clips on each shelf eliminate the need for screws, making assembly and disassembly quick and easy, in line with our commitment to designing furniture that can be easily assembled and disassembled for ease of use.
2. Attention to detail
UNIT is an object with defined lines. The design studio has chosen to keep this functionality visible in the product’s design. A subtlety in keeping with the Tiptoe tradition. Details such as the pawn and the headband play an important role in the aesthetics of the entire system.
The pawn is present on both sides of the ladder, revealing an intuitive assembly principle and emphasizing the detail of the design, while the headband is a functional and aesthetic element. Its main function is to secure the structure of the UNIT system.
