The UNIT system has been designed for easy assembly.
The steel structure is reinforced with support bands that can be screwed on using an Allen key. The frames have positioning pins onto which the shelves can be easily clipped.
For additional elements such as doors or drawers, a Phillips screwdriver will be required for assembly.
UNIT shelving units are designed to be freestanding.
However, for safety reasons, we recommend fixing your shelves to the wall for heights exceeding 110cm and configurations with drawers and/or doors. The safety elements (brackets for wall-mounting) will be included in the order but screws and plugs are not supplied. You must provide the appropriate ones for your wall.
Each shelf can support a maximum load of 30 kg, correctly spread over the entire surface.
We strongly discourage you from sitting on the shelves, as they are not suitable for bench use.
