Discover the project « 10 years – 10 visions »

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Tiptoe invited ten creative minds to reinterpret its iconic product: the clamp-on table leg. This invitation resulted in ten unique works of art. Each of these singular creations questions, reinterprets or enhances this emblematic object. All the pieces are being sold to raise funds for the charity Toit à Moi, which works to reintegrate homeless people and has been supported by Tiptoe for several years.

Tiptoe is celebrating its iconic product: the table leg

Inspired by the work of François Arnal in the 1970s, who envisioned a structural, simple, and modular element, the Tiptoe table leg embodies a distinctive approach to design.

Today, over 400,000 table legs have been adopted around the world. A testament to the product’s ability to naturally and sustainably blend into all kinds of interiors, from homes to professional spaces.

To mark its 10-year anniversary, Tiptoe has chosen to return to its origins by inviting ten creators to reinterpret this founding product in their own way. A tribute to an object that has become emblematic, and a reminder that good design is built to last and never ceases to inspire.

10 designers, 10 unique pieces

ToeTip

Wendy Andreu

Wendy Andreu is a designer and craftswoman driven by a sensitive exploration of materials. Through experimentation, she reveals forms that she transforms into functional products, thus translating her ideas into tangible proposals. Her work aims to create open connections between material, space, and user.

The « ToeTip » coffee table uses the 43 cm Tiptoe leg upside down to envision a new function for the clamp. Made of powder-coated steel, it combines functionality and inventiveness. A piece that fully reflects Wendy Andreu’s approach, where material experimentation and attention to context are just as important as the concept itself.

Unique piece, 5000€.

Materials: Powder-coated steel
Dimensions: 170cm × 93cm × 46cm

Inox

BIG-GAME

The Swiss trio BIG-GAME — Augustin Scott de Martinville, Grégoire Jeanmonod, and Elric Petit — create designs that are direct, approachable, and joyful. Their pragmatic approach results in clear, well-thought-out products designed to last.

With the « Inox » table, they revisit Tiptoe’s iconic leg in an outdoor version. A round table, reduced to its purest expression: a disc and four brushed stainless steel legs. A piece of understated elegance, where form and function strike a natural balance.

Unique piece, 3000€.

Materials: Brushed stainless steel
Dimensions: diameter 1.2 – height 75cm

Songoe

Sophie Dries

Architect and designer Sophie Dries shapes a singular universe nourished by contemporary art, history, and noble materials. Inspired as much by Arte Povera as by the Enlightenment era, her work blends artistic sensitivity with architectural precision.

The « Songoe » desk echoes the sculptural spirit of the original « Songye » piece, part of the Mobilier national collection. Its corten steel legs, reimagined in a totemic form, are attached using the studio’s signature clamp system. Handcrafted in France by Atelier Moore, this piece embodies a dialogue between craftsmanship and contemporary modularity.

Unique piece, 5000€.

Materials: Corten steel and solid oak
Dimensions: 150 x 80 cm

DR-Tiptoe version

Jean-Baptiste Durand

Jean-Baptiste Durand is a designer whose work, freed from classical frameworks, explores hybrid territories blending ancient
craftsmanship with technological remnants. He offers an archaeological reading of the future.

The « DR–tiptoe version » suspension belongs to his Dystopian Series, in which humanity coexists with the remnants of a hyper-technological civilization. This fictional fragment combines obsolete LED matrices with altered ceramics, evoking artifacts devoid of clear function. Conceived for Tiptoe, this version offers a poignant glow: the design of the base acts as a temporal marker, anchoring the object in a future that has already passed.

Unique piece, 3000€.

Materials: Powder-coated steel, stoneware, enamels, LEDs, steel, polylactic acid, electrical components.

Palm

Rudy Guénaire

Rudy Guénaire is a designer and interior architect who creates sensitive spaces at the crossroads of poetry, craftsmanship, and a rich visual culture. After designing the interiors of his PNY restaurants, he developed a distinctive practice within his own studio.

« Palm » pays tribute to American modernism—simple, soft, and always a little eccentric. Its powder-coated steel base supports a frosted glass top in a graphic, airy composition. A balanced piece, where formal rigor meets a sense of creative freedom.

Unique piece, 3000€.

Materials: powder-coated steel and frosted glass
Dimensions: 54 cm x 45 cm x 55 cm

Behind each piece, there are encounters, conversations, trials, and above all, a great deal of enthusiasm.

À point

Constance Guisset

Constance Guisset is a designer whose work is defined by a search for balance between ergonomics, delicacy, and imagination. Her universe favors rounded, curved forms, aiming to bring lightness and fluidity to her creations.

The « À point » desk perfectly reflects that approach: the graphic lines of the legs meet her preferred geometry — somewhere between softness and curves. A cascade of discs appears to have landed gently, subtly altering the profile of the legs, resulting in a piece that is both dynamic and harmonious.

Unique piece, 5000€.

Materials: Powder-coated steel, reclaimed wood and brass components
Dimensions : 150 x 75 cm

VV

Kann Design

Kann is a studio founded by Houssam Kanaan and Meghedi Simonian, blending artisanal craftsmanship with modern design. By overseeing the entire production process, the duo has developed a clear, functional, and refined design language.

With « VV », they revisit the Tiptoe table leg through a lens of functional simplicity. Two V-shaped structures naturally serve as racks for vinyl records, books, or magazines. The upper surface holds everyday objects. A visual, purposeful piece—clear-cut and intuitive.

Unique piece, 3000€.

Materials: Brushed stainless steel
Dimensions: 150 cm x 35 cm x 43 cm

DXF

Julien Renault

Julien Renault is a designer driven by an essential vision of the object, always approached through its connection tovdaily life and its environment. His sharp eye, nurtured by photography, reveals the beauty of the ordinary with clarity and precision.

With « DXF », he proposes a minimal intervention on the Tiptoe leg by redesigning its contour to integrate a discreet hook. A subtle modification that naturally extends the product’s silhouette, as if it had always existed this way. This functional detail allows everyday items to be hung, enriching the object’s use with simplicity.

Unique piece, 500€.

Materials: Powder-coated steel
Dimensions: height 75cm

Serre-Livres et Serre-Verres

Wilmotte

Jean-Michel Wilmotte is a French architect and designer renowned for his clean and timeless style. Leading his firm since 1975, he has developed a cross-disciplinary approach spanning architecture, urban planning, and product design, with particular attention to detail and French craftsmanship.

With the pieces « Serre-livres and Serre-verres », Wilmotte reinterprets the clamp mechanism and Tiptoe’s «BRACKET» system to create objects that are discreet yet expressive. Made of powder-coated steel, these pieces fit onto a shelf, subtly extending an architectural language into everyday rituals.

Unique piece, 350€.

Materials: powder-coated steel

TipToes

Olimpia Zagnoli

Olimpia Zagnoli is an illustrator and multidisciplinary artist whose world blends humor, visual elegance, and vivid imagination. Her work spans publishing, installation, and contemporary art, featuring a colorful and instantly recognizable aesthetic.

With « TipToes », she offers a whimsical and poetic interpretation of the table leg. By equipping the iconic leg with actual « toes » Olimpia gives the product a unique and lively personality. An invitation to see everyday life from a fresh, playful perspective.

Tiptoe is taking over the Ellia gallery in the heart of Paris’ Marais district for a four-day pop-up exhibition from 3 to 6 September 2025.

Comprising five spaces, the venue will showcase ten pieces created especially for the occasion, accompanied by a retrospective and screening area, a space dedicated to new products, a welcoming lounge and a pop-up shop where visitors can purchase a selection of pieces from the studio.

A decade of creation

On its 10-year anniversary, Tiptoe is also celebrating a history rich in innovation. Through its creations, the studio shares its passion for modern, vibrant design, with each new collection reflecting a successful creative challenge: simple, well-designed pieces with a bold, timeless style. Since its inception, Tiptoe has chosen to surround itself with partners of excellence, favouring European production that embodies its products. This requirement is deeply rooted in the family history of Matthieu Bourgeaux, the co-founder, whose precision machining workshop in Haute-Savoie has been working with Tiptoe for nearly ten years.
