SSD Full Wood chair : our first 100% wood-only design
Following the success of the SSD chair released in 2019, our design studio has created the SSD Full Wood chair. For the first time, we are moving away from our original conventions by designing an object made entirely from oak. The chair retains the ergonomics of the SSD chair, while revealing an entirely new structure and assembly, completely reimagined in solid wood and molded wood for the backrest and seat.
Sculptural and distinctive, the SSD Full Wood chair features a backrest and seat crafted from molded wood. Full of character, this piece is available in 4 colors: natural oak, Graphite Black, Forest Green and Poppy Red. It comes naturally to life in any room and any interior.
Named after their shared strengths: Simple, Sturdy and Sustainable, the SSD collection is completed by this new 100% wood edition.
The SSD Full Wood chair remains true to the ergonomics and comfort of its SSD, SSDr and SSD Soft counterparts. Only its structure and assembly have evolved.
The SSD Full Wood chair has been designed to meet the same durability standards as all our other objects.
Made 100% in Europe, the wood is FSC-certified and sourced from sustainably managed European forests.
It is delivered disassembled and flat-packed to reduce its volume and therefore CO2 emissions during transport. The chair can be easily disassembled into 5 elements, and the parts are easy to replace, helping to extend the chair’s lifespan.
