A cosy, minimalist cocoon at Eloïse’s
Today, we’re off to meet Eloïse, aka Mademoiselle Claudine online. A radiant and inspired young woman, she shares her world and her passion for decoration, weaving together personal favorites, decor tips, and numerous DIY tutorials. A former florist, she has kept from her first profession the delicacy of arranging and, above all, of tinkering, making, and shaping objects that will brighten and surprise everyday life. A poetic encounter not to be missed!
Eloïse, tell us your story.
I come from the South of France. A few years ago, I was a florist in Marseille. We arrived in Paris almost 4 years ago. I had recently started my home decor blog. Everything changed when I began making DIY projects. First of all, I found a balance between the hands-on work I missed so much and my passion for decor. Today, it’s my main activity, because in addition to my blog (which also covers decor and lifestyle topics, as it did in the beginning), I work on the editorial team of a DIY magazine, as well as for inspiration websites.
What are your tastes and inspirations in decor?
There are so many things that inspire me. That’s my big problem—I love a huge variety of very different things. But I have to say that right now I have a bit of a soft spot for Californian interiors, blending simplicity, soft colors, and greenery.
If you had to describe your world in a few words?
Natural, bright, personal. I like to surround myself with plants while keeping spaces very uncluttered.
Why did you choose TIPTOE table legs, and how do you incorporate them into your interior?
I was looking for original table legs. I spotted them on social media, and it was love at first sight. My partner and I didn’t necessarily agree on the color (they’re all great), so we chose Cloud White, and I have to say I’m still a fan with every passing day.
What TIPTOE creation would you like to make?
I think that in a future apartment, I’d really like to create an office entirely “in TIPTOE”. I find that the materials and finishes fit perfectly with the world of this room.
