As a general rule, the gap between the tabletop and the chair seat is between 25 and 30 centimeters for standard tables. This gap can be up to 35 centimeters for high tables. Measuring seat height is very simple: use a tape measure and measure the distance from the floor to the highest point of the chair seat.
