MIDI: our first range of outdoor furniture
TIPTOE now wishes to express its sustainability values through exteriors, with its first range of outdoor furniture: the MIDI collection. Including a garden table, outdoor table legs and a garden chair, the entire collection has been developed with quality materials and is 100% made in Europe.
To ensure the longevity of the products, numerous adaptations and treatments have been applied: a top-of-the-line anti-corrosion treatment for the steel of the table top and its legs, and an anti-UV treatment for the recycled plastic of the chair.
The furniture in the MIDI collection is available in a range of colours that can go with any exterior.
Your questions about garden furniture
The MIDI collection has been designed and manufactured using robust, high-quality materials to withstand the test of time. However, TIPTOE does not recommend daily use in seaside locations, as this remains a particularly harsh environment for metal furniture.
Freezing temperatures and frost are particularly harsh conditions for outdoor furniture. To ensure the longevity of the MIDI outdoor furniture collection, we recommend covering the table and chairs with a protective cover, or dismantling the table legs and top to store them away from the elements and moisture.
The TIPTOE outdoor table legs can be used for indoor furniture. Store your garden table away in winter to create a new dining table in your home!
The steel is protected by an anti-corrosion treatment known as ‘cataphoresis’. This surface treatment, applied before painting, involves electrochemically depositing an epoxy-based coating onto the steel. It is a widely used industrial painting technique for street furniture and in the automotive industry. This high-quality anti-corrosion treatment is the most effective at preventing rust from setting in on steel components.
If the paint chips, it must be treated promptly to prevent rust from setting in and spreading.
To repair any paint chips that may appear on your outdoor table leg, TIPTOE offers a touch-up pen specially developed to match the colours of the MIDI range.
