- Scope of Application
All commercial operations carried out by our Company are subject to these general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as the "General Conditions") which govern the contractual relations between any user of the website https://www.tiptoe.fr (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") wishing to make a purchase via the Site (hereinafter referred to as the "Client") and the company TIP TOE SAS, whose registered office is located at 46 rue du Faubourg St Martin, 75010 Paris and registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 812 719 433, (hereinafter referred to as "TIPTOE").
At any time, TIPTOE may modify certain provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. Therefore, it is necessary to review the current version on the day of the order on the Site. These changes are binding from the date they are posted online and will apply to orders placed after their posting on the Site.
Any purchase on the Site is subject to all clauses of the General Conditions. The Client can only confirm their order after duly reading the General Conditions. By accepting the General Conditions, the Client declares having the legal capacity to enter into a contract under articles 1123 and following of the French Civil Code.
For the understanding of the General Conditions, the following terms should be defined:
- Territory: refers to France (including DOM/TOM), Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.
- Users or Internet Users: Refer to any person located in the Territory connecting to the Site.
- Products
PRODUCTS SOLD
The products offered for sale by TIPTOE on the Site (hereinafter the "Products") are described on the Site. Each will have an individual product sheet presenting at least the essential characteristics of the product based on information provided by partners, suppliers, or manufacturers. The characteristics are indicative. The products will also be presented with photos, which have no contractual value. TIPTOE may also offer "Promotions": products subject to these (on price or any other characteristic such as delivery, quantity, etc.) will be sold during a limited time and/or quantity.
- Ordering Terms
To place an order on the Site for the purchase of a Product, the CUSTOMER must:
– have a User Account opened in compliance with the data privacy article
– hold a valid bank card or a bank account
Orders are exclusively placed online following these steps:
- The Customer fills their cart with Products,
- The Customer creates their account or logs in if they are already a member of the TIPTOE community,
- The Customer provides information regarding their delivery details,
- The Customer is informed about the delivery method and the amount of delivery fees,
- The Customer chooses their payment method,
- The Customer accepts the General Conditions and their order,
- The Customer makes their payment request,
- Finally, the Customer receives an order validation email.
The Customer is required to verify the completeness and accuracy of the information they provide to TIPTOE when ordering, especially their delivery address. The order validation email signifies TIPTOE's acceptance of the Customer's order and thus forms the sales contract between the parties according to the provisions of the General Conditions. The information provided by the Customer as well as the General Conditions form the contract concluded between the Customer and TIPTOE and will be recalled in the order validation email. The Customer is responsible for keeping this validation email as it represents their copy of the sales contract. TIPTOE cannot be held responsible if this email is deleted by an "antispam" type device. The Customer can access the content of their order at any time by logging into the Site and opening the "My Account" tab. The General Conditions can be viewed from any page of the Site.
- Availability
As part of a standard sale of a Product from the collection, the user can order any product listed in the permanent catalog. Only the confirmation sent by TIPTOE when placing the order can guarantee the availability of the product. In case of unavailability of the Product after the order, the Customer will be informed by email or phone of the delivery of a partial order or the cancellation of their order.
- Price
The selling prices of the Products offered on the Site during Sales Sessions are indicated in Euros and increased by the VAT rate applicable on the day of the order.
Price to pay: The price to pay is the price shown on the Site in the Product sheet, increased by additional fees (including delivery fees and service options) communicated during the order. It may be reduced by a discount (for example promotional codes or vouchers). The price will only be final upon order confirmation. All prices are displayed on our Site in euros and include all taxes ("TTC").
Promotional codes or vouchers: The CLIENT may benefit from promotional codes or personal and non-transferable vouchers that they can use when confirming their order by entering their reference in the purchase form. It is specified that promotional codes or vouchers are only valid for the duration indicated by the COMPANY to the CLIENT.
Shipping fees: Shipping fees are due for each order placed. The exact amount of shipping fees depends on the chosen delivery method, the delivery location of the order, and its contents. The shipping cost will be indicated in the cart and will be subject to the Client's approval before confirming the cart. To get an estimate, the Client can simulate their purchases on the Site. In any case, this indication remains an estimate, and only the price confirmed at cart validation is contractually binding except for exceptions such as delivery difficulties or special delivery methods that may incur additional costs.
Discount and VAT: Orders are payable immediately. No discount will be applied. In case of a change in the VAT rate, the price will be automatically adjusted without further notice than the legal effective date of the new rate.
Price variations: The prices of Products displayed on the Site are subject to change. TIPTOE reserves the right to modify prices without notice, especially in case of labeling errors. Subject to the following, the prices displayed at the time of purchase are the prices applicable to that purchase. Although the website is carefully prepared, it is possible that the prices shown contain errors. TIPTOE is in no way bound by its offer and reserves the right to cancel the client's purchase when such an error occurs.
Foreign currencies: Prices are indicated in Euro. If the payment currency differs from the currency in which prices are displayed, the Client's bank will apply its exchange rate in effect on the date of purchase, beyond TIPTOE's control.
- Payment Terms
6.1 Accepted Payment Methods
The payment methods accepted on the Site are as follows:

Please note that the availability of different payment methods may vary depending on the country selected during the order.
6.2 Online Payment
Once the Terms and Conditions are accepted, the CLIENT proceeds to pay for their order by credit card via PayPlug, a third-party provider ensuring transaction security.
Payment for goods can be made by credit card throughout the Territory. The Client enters their details, validates the cart and the total price. They confirm their order and are then redirected to a page of our partner PayPlug where they provide their credit card information. Receipt of confirmation by TIPTOE validates the sale. The sale is then concluded subject to the availability of the product and therefore the receipt of a confirmation sent by TIPTOE to the email address provided by the internet user during purchase.
TIPTOE retains ownership of the goods sold until delivery to the client or the recipient designated by the client. Failure to pay either party may result in a claim for the goods. These provisions do not prevent the transfer to the internet user, upon delivery, of the risks of loss and damage to the purchased goods as well as any damage they may cause.
6.3 Payment by Bank Transfer
If the Client chooses to pay by bank transfer, the bank details necessary for this transaction will be provided at the order finalization. It is important to consider that the fees related to this transfer will be borne by the Client, and the order will only be subject to confirmation and shipment upon receipt of payment confirmation.
- Payment Security
TIPTOE has chosen efficient and rigorous tools for securing payment methods. TIPTOE has adopted for payment methods a PayPlug solution using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, one of the most effective security systems currently available, which establishes an encrypted connection directly between the Client and the bank.
TIPTOE never has access to confidential information related to the payment method the Client uses during payment. That is why the Client's bank details will be requested for each new order. Indeed, only PayPlug has access to confidential information, which remains inaccessible to third parties.
Although TIPTOE uses encrypted security software, the security of information and payments transmitted via the Internet or email cannot be guaranteed. TIPTOE cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from the use of electronic communication means, including – but not limited to – damages resulting from failure or delay in transmitting electronic communications, interception or manipulation of electronic communications by third parties or by software used for electronic communications and virus transmission.
- Delivery
8.1 Delivery terms
Product shipment is carried out within the Territory defined in these General Conditions.
Delivery is made by Courier or Delivery person, at the Customer’s choice among the delivery methods offered and determined according to the weight and dimensions of the package. Delivery of each product in the cart may be made independently. The Customer must carefully complete all fields of the delivery form at the time of order, including delivery contact details and provide a landline or mobile phone number. Neither TIPTOE nor the transport company can be held responsible for delivery failure due to inaccuracies or errors in the delivery address.
Delivery person: delivery can be made by a Delivery person for large or heavy packages. In this case, the Customer is contacted either by email or phone directly by the Delivery person to arrange a delivery appointment (hereafter, the "Appointment"). During this contact, the Customer must explicitly report any access or passage difficulties the Delivery person might encounter during delivery (including those previously indicated on the order form). The Customer is specifically required to measure access passages to their home to confirm to the Delivery person the accessibility of the ordered Product. Any additional delivery costs necessary for renting specific equipment (such as a forklift) to overcome access difficulties specified by the Customer must be approved and paid by the Customer prior to delivery.
Courier: smaller or lighter packages may be delivered by Courier. The Customer must provide a delivery address where a person can receive the package upon first delivery (for example: workplace, a friend’s or family member’s home, concierge, etc.).
8.2 Delivery times
The delivery times indicated during order confirmation are calculated in business days and are specific to each Product. Due to the variety of supply areas, manufacturing, and logistical constraints, these times may vary and TIPTOE cannot be held responsible.
8.3 Additional fees
In case of inability to deliver on the scheduled appointment day due to inappropriate information, access difficulties, or unreported passage issues by the Customer, or absence of the Customer at the appointment in violation of commitments made during contact, new delivery fees may be charged by TIPTOE, which will contact the Customer for payment of these new delivery fees before any new delivery of the Product. In case of non-payment of these fees, TIPTOE reserves the right not to proceed with the delivery of the Product. The risks of damage resulting from these constraints will also be borne by the Customer.
8.4 Postponement of delivery date/Change of delivery location
If the Customer wishes to change the delivery address or postpone the delivery date, they must notify TIPTOE as soon as possible and no later than seven (7) working days before the scheduled delivery date. To inform TIPTOE, the Customer must use the "Contact" section available on the Site. They must provide their order number, the Product concerned, and indicate their comments justifying the changes. TIPTOE will then confirm its acceptance or motivated refusal by email or phone as soon as possible.
8.5 Receipt of ordered products
At the time of delivery, the Customer must unpack the Product in the presence of the Delivery Service and verify that the delivered Product matches their order and that no damage affects the Product before signing the delivery note. In case of anomaly, the Customer must precisely note the nature of their objections on the delivery note. These objections must be handwritten, dated, detailed, and accompanied by a signature on the delivery note. The mention "damaged product" is, for example, not sufficiently explicit. The Customer must specify the nature of the damage: scratches, dents, stains, etc. Similarly, if a delivery error is found, the Customer must specify the nature of the error: wrong color, round legs instead of square, wrong reference, etc.
In case of error or damage, the Customer must refuse the Product and send their objections within five (5) days by email via the "Contact" section of the Site and simultaneously by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the address below: TIPTOE Customer Service 24 boulevard Saint Denis, 75010 Paris.
Any claim made beyond these deadlines will not be accepted. If the Customer does not raise any objections, the delivered Product is deemed satisfactory and cannot be subject to any subsequent dispute. For example, the Customer cannot raise objections with TIPTOE or the Delivery Service after the Delivery Service has left, even if the package was not opened in their presence.
Except in cases of non-conformity or hidden defects, no claim and/or subsequent reservation will be accepted by TIPTOE after the Products have been received by the Customer if the latter has not complied with the procedure described above.
- Cancellation Returns and Right of Withdrawal
CANCELLATION
The Customer has the option to cancel any product order, without giving a reason, provided it has not already been shipped.
To request an order cancellation, the Customer contacts TIPTOE by email via the "Contact" section of the Site.
WITHDRAWAL
The Customer has 14 (fourteen) working days from the receipt of the goods to return their order for any reason. Under Belgian law, Belgian Customers have a period of fifteen (15) days to exercise this right. In case of withdrawal, all return costs will be borne by the customer. This period is calculated in working days: if the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, the period is extended until the next working day at midnight. To facilitate the handling of the Customer's withdrawal request, it is possible to send such a request to TIPTOE through the "Contact" section available to the Customer on the Site.
The terms for exercising the right of withdrawal are as follows:
For bulky and/or fragile Products delivered via a specialized carrier (hereinafter the "Carrier") or those delivered by Courier, the Customer must contact TIPTOE to arrange the return of the Product. For a return from home, the Carrier will make an appointment with the Customer and then verify at their home that the Product is in brand new condition and returned in its original packaging. The Product must show no signs of use and must be accompanied by its accessories and any user or assembly manuals. If these conditions are met, the Carrier will proceed with the Product pickup.
TIPTOE will carry out a quality check of the Product at the warehouse. Products must be in brand new condition, returned in their original packaging, without any signs of use, and accompanied by their accessories and any user or assembly manuals. Only after verifying that these conditions are met will TIPTOE proceed with the refund of the amounts paid for the returned products. If the mentioned conditions are not met, the Customer's refund will be reduced by the amount corresponding to the loss of value of the Product, as determined during the inspection.
Once the Products are returned in compliance with the procedure described above, the refund (excluding the initial shipping costs of the Product) will be made within a maximum of thirty (30) days following the date TIPTOE receives the returned Products. Beyond this period, these amounts will accrue interest at the legal rate. Return shipping costs are always the responsibility of the Customer. Throughout the procedure, the Customer will be informed by email of the receipt of their withdrawal request, the return of their package, and the refund date.
- Hidden Defects
TIPTOE guarantees the Customer against all consequences of hidden defects that may affect the Products sold, unless otherwise stated on the Site in accordance with French law provisions.
The warranty for hidden defects only applies if the user proves that the defect they identified already existed before TIPTOE delivered the product to them. It is the user’s responsibility to have the product inspected at their own expense to obtain proof of the existence of the hidden defect.
TIPTOE’s liability can never exceed the value of the item in question. Furthermore, no other compensation may be claimed by the user beyond those expressly provided for by the Consumer Code.
- Intellectual Property
TIPTOE is a registered protected trademark at the INPI and https://www.tiptoe.fr is a domain name also protected. They are the exclusive property of TIPTOE and cannot be used without our prior consent. Any link to other sites without TIPTOE’s prior approval is strictly prohibited.
The graphic and editorial elements presented on the Site are the property of TIPTOE and protected under copyright law. The presentation of products (photographs, videos, drawings, product sheets, etc.), whether for sale or not, are also the property of TIPTOE or its partners (designers, suppliers, etc.) and therefore cannot be reproduced without the express authorization of their respective owners. Any copying or reproduction, any use of all or part of our graphic and/or editorial elements or any presentation of our products is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement of our intellectual property rights, which will be prosecuted and sanctioned as such.
- Privacy
In accordance with law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, it is reminded that the personal data requested from the buyer is necessary for processing their order.
TIPTOE commits to using its internet users' confidential information only within the framework of operating its Site. As part of partnerships, TIPTOE may rent, sell, or use its customer file in partnership with other companies. The use of Customers'/members' contact details will therefore be done in accordance with their expressed preferences at registration.
Upon the first request of an internet user wishing to no longer appear in the TIPTOE database, we commit to deactivate all contact details and information related to the concerned member.
TIPTOE may apply technical means to obtain non-personal information about internet users intended to improve the site's functionality, for example by tracking the number of visitors to the site.
Furthermore, TIPTOE only collects personal data such as name, first name, address, and email address if these are voluntarily provided by the visitor. The data collected in this way cannot be used for commercial purposes other than those specified on the site or that may be developed later by TIPTOE.
No information may be transferred to third parties without the express consent of the member at the time of registration or later in their data management area. Each member has the right to access, modify, correct, or delete data concerning them (Article 34 of the Data Protection Act). To exercise this right, contact TIPTOE by sending an email to contact@tiptoe.fr or at any time by modifying their data in "My Account."
- Disputes and Liability
The Customer is required to verify the completeness and accuracy of the information provided to TIPTOE when placing the order, especially the delivery address. TIPTOE cannot be held responsible for any input errors that may cause delivery mistakes. TIPTOE cannot be held responsible for the Customer's failure to comply with the delivery terms and the appointment they themselves set with the carrier. If applicable, the costs necessary for reshipping and storing the products will be borne by the Customer. Without limiting the preceding paragraphs, TIPTOE's liability cannot exceed an amount equal to the sums paid or payable during the transaction that gave rise to said liability, regardless of the cause or form of the action concerned. Acts or circumstances that are irresistible, unforeseeable, and beyond the parties' control, such as total or partial strikes by carriers, riots, war, and natural disasters, are considered force majeure or fortuitous events exempting liability.
The choice and purchase of merchandise by the Customer are their sole and exclusive responsibility. Therefore, the total or partial inability to use the Products, notably due to equipment incompatibility, cannot give rise to any compensation, refund, or liability claim against TIPTOE, except in the case of proven hidden defects, non-compliance, defects, or exercise of the right of withdrawal provided by the French Consumer Code.
- Dispute Resolution
The General Terms and Conditions will be executed and interpreted in accordance with French law. The parties will seek an amicable agreement before any litigation, noting that this does not interrupt the deadlines to act under warranty. Any dispute of any kind or any contestation relating to the formation or execution of the order, even in case of warranty claims or multiple defendants, will, failing amicable agreement, be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where TIPTOE's registered office is located. The jurisdiction of the courts will be in accordance with the rules of the Code of Civil Procedure when the buyer is not a professional.
In case of dispute, and in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code regarding "the consumer dispute mediation process," you have the right to use the mediation service offered by TIPTOE free of charge and before any legal action. The consumer rights mediator offered is the mediator of the FCD (Federation of Commerce and Distribution).

In accordance with Article L. 612-2 of the Consumer Code, the Customer must prove that they have attempted to resolve their dispute directly with TIPTOE's Service beforehand, by submitting a claim by mail to the head office (TIPTOE, 46 rue du faubourg St-Martin 75010 Paris) or by email by contacting TIPTOE Customer Service at hello@tiptoe.fr.
- Language
The General Terms and Conditions, orders, correspondence emails, and the sales contract concluded with the Customer are in French for the Territory.
- Severability of clauses
If for any reason one (or more) of the clauses of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale is declared null, unenforceable, void, illegal, or inapplicable due to a law, regulation, or following a final decision of a competent court, this change shall not affect the validity, legality, or applicability of the other provisions of these General Terms and Conditions and shall not exempt the user from fulfilling their contractual obligations.
- Installment payment with Alma
If you pay for your order in installments, you agree to the Alma customer general terms and conditions as well as the Alma specific terms for TIPTOE SAS customers.
