MIDI: our first range of outdoor furniture
TIPTOE now wishes to express its sustainability values through exteriors, with its first range of outdoor furniture: the MIDI collection. Including a garden table, outdoor table legs and a garden chair, the entire collection has been developed with quality materials and is 100% made in Europe.
To ensure the longevity of the products, numerous adaptations and treatments have been applied: a top-of-the-line anti-corrosion treatment for the steel of the table top and its legs, and an anti-UV treatment for the recycled plastic of the chair.
The furniture in the MIDI collection is available in a range of colours that can go with any exterior.
An iconic object revisited
The TIPTOE table leg allows you to create a design piece of furniture for your backyard in just a few minutes and without any tools. Its clamp-on system makes assembly quick and easy.
Designed with outdoor use in mind, the powder-coated steel table leg is protected with a high-quality anti-corrosion treatment that protects it from harsh external conditions. The leg screws are made of stainless steel and adjustable glides allow the height of the table leg to be adjusted from 9 to 15mm to keep it away from moisture.
Developed to last and stand the test of time, the TIPTOE outdoor table leg will serve you for decades.
How to choose your table top?
- Recommended thickness : 30 to 40 mm
- Maximum dimensions for 4 legs : 180 x 100 cm
- For a length over 150 cm: choose a thickness of 40 mm
- For a length over 180 cm : choose a 40 mm-thick tabletop and add 2 legs per metre, for a total of 6 legs
- Maximum weight for 4 legs (including tabletop) : 100 kg
- Recommended materials : wood treated for outdoor use (pressure-treated pine, heat-treated ash, etc.)
- Do not use brittle materials : glass, marble, stone
- Do not overtighten with the Allen key : overtightening could bend the leg
Your questions about the outdoor table leg
The outdoor table leg clamps on in the same way as a standard TIPTOE table leg.
Simply place the leg in the desired position along the table top, tighten the clamp by hand while holding the leg in place, and lock it in place with the Allen key.

The MIDI collection has been designed and developed with robust and quality materials to withstand the test of time. Be that as it may, daily use on the seafront is not recommended by TIPTOE as it is a particularly harsh environment for metal furniture.
Freezing temperatures and frost are particularly harsh weather conditions for outdoor furniture. To ensure the longevity of the MIDI outdoor furniture collection, it is recommended that the table and chairs be covered or dismantled to keep them protected from inclement weather and moisture.
TIPTOE outdoor table legs can be used for indoor furniture. Bring your outdoor table inside during wintertime and create a new dining table in your home!
The steel is protected by an anti-corrosion treatment process known as “cataphoresis”. This surface treatment, applied prior to the paint job, consists of an electro-chemical process of depositing a type of epoxy on the steel as a primer. This is an industrial painting technique widely used for street furniture and in the automotive industry. This high-end anti-corrosion treatment is the most effective in preventing rust on steel parts.
If the paint gets chipped, it should be treated quickly to prevent rust from taking hold and spreading.
To repair any chips in the paint that may appear on your outdoor table leg, TIPTOE provides specially developed touch-up pens in the colours of the MIDI range.
