Tiptoe x Klein Blue®: edition II (Archive)

Following the success of the first edition, Tiptoe unveils a new exclusive collaboration with the Yves Klein Archives, in tribute to the iconic artist.

Artist Yves Klein made history with IKB, an ultramarine blue of unmatched intensity. This legendary blue now meets 8 of our objects for a Tiptoe x Klein Blue® Edition II.

Tiptoe x Klein Blue®

Artist A major artist of the 20th century, Yves Klein left to history a color-material that has become legendary: an ultramarine blue of incomparable intensity, which he described as “the most perfect expression of blue” and adopted as the vehicle for his quest for the immaterial and the infinite.

Since its creation, Tiptoe has sought to share its exceptional industrial expertise and its resolutely modern, vibrant vision of object design.

This collaboration reflects the studio’s desire to explore a variety of colors while celebrating the founding principles set out by the great figures of French art and design of the 20th century.

This monochrome edition brings a vibrant touch to the Tiptoe collection.

This color, both intense and luminous, perfectly complements the range with a selection of objects that celebrate the brand’s modern, bold aesthetic.

Edition II introduces 2 new pieces, the PLI bench and shelf, along with the studio’s iconic objects: the BRACKET wall hook, the 75cm table leg, the 43cm table leg, the round coffee table, the LOU stool and the SSD chair. Two formulas were created: one for wood and one for steel, ensuring they are identical so that the materials blend seamlessly.

Discover the objects

Through this collaboration, the studio presents a collection of objects true to its values of durability and a guarantee of flawless quality.

Each object is meticulously made and colored in Europe. The signature is pad-printed or screen-printed by French partners.

For this launch, the studio wanted to present the objects in a space blending living space and art gallery. Each piece fully reveals Klein blue, creating an atmosphere that is both raw and museum-like.

“This feeling of total freedom in pure sensorial space exerted such a powerful attraction on me that I painted monochrome surfaces to see, to see with my own eyes, what was visible in the absolute” – Yves Klein
