Tiptoe by Silvia Bairo
Can you introduce yourself? I’m Silvia, an artist and illustrator based in Milan. I am a person adventurous and passionate; I like changing perspectives, listening to stories, and letting myself be surprised by the unexpected. Drawing comes naturally to me; it is my way of expressing myself and capturing emotions and memories.
How would you describe your creative universe?
I would say it is a relaxing universe. I like to draw bodies as I perceive them, without standards nor rules. I like evolve across different media, from paper to digital, always driven by my passion for detail and color research.
Where do you find your inspiration?
In many places, often the most unexpected ones. The secret, as my grandmother used to say, is to “make your eyes dance.” It’s about being receptive, observing carefully, and recognizing what has potential or catches your attention. My travels are my greatest source of inspiration, they allow me to recharge my batteries.
What are your recommendations for creating?
Try doing something different, as if it were the first time – let yourself be surprised!
Also keep a journal where you write down your thoughts (whether written or simply sketched), keywords, mood boards, love letters.
A place where you feel good?
I need both wild nature and the energy of the city, which is why I like to alternate between places where I can truly immerse myself.
What is your vision of Tiptoe?
I see Tiptoe as an intelligent brand that values both design and functionality. I admire the importance it places on durability and its desire to collaborate with artists to create meaningful synergies. It is a brand that is both modern and thoughtful, with values that resonate with me.
