EASY is easy to love. Its timeless design and exceptional comfort make EASY a sofa you’ll never tire of.

The seat and cushions of EASY offer impeccable comfort that is welcoming, firm and generous. The seat is made from high-resilience foam with excellent long-term support (density of 35 kg/m3) and a soft comfort layer to enhance the feeling of comfort.

As for its clean lines and light, elegant silhouette, they are sure to find their place in your interior.

Like all TIPTOE objects, the EASY sofa was designed to last in terms of strength, choice of materials and ease of care.

All our materials are premium and ultra-durable. The powder-coated steel frame is virtually indestructible. Fabrics from the Danish company Gabriel offer exceptional resistance to abrasion and rubbing (the “Martindale” method, which measures fabric resistance, gives the EASY sofa a score of 60,000 to 100,000, i.e. 6 to 10 times higher than the required standard of 10,000).

The EASY cushions are all removable and machine-washable for easy care year after year.

Woven by design house Gabriel, founded in 1851 in Denmark, EASY’s textile is made of polyester recycled from plastic bottles (at a rate of 75 to 98% depending on the fabric). The textile boasts the “OEKO-TEX 100” label, a very demanding international standard in terms of respect for the health of the user and the environment, as well as the “EU Ecolabel”, the European reference for eco-designed products.

The cushions are filled with recycled foam flakes (note: the seat is a “virgin”, high-resilience foam made in France. Despite our tests, it is not yet possible to create a sufficiently comfortable seat in recycled foam). Finally, the structure of the sofa is made of steel, the most recycled material worldwide and infinitely recyclable.

Unlike most sofas where the use of glue and staples makes the materials virtually inseparable, EASY is a model of recyclability: each element can easily be disassembled at the end of its life (steel, foam, textile) to be recycled.

Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, BIG-GAME is a design studio founded in 2014 by Augustin Scott de Martinville, Elric Petit and Grégoire Jeanmonod.

BIG-GAME promotes a simple, functional and optimistic vision of object design. The trio of designers collaborate with prestigious partners around the world and some of their creations have already joined the collections of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris or the MoMA in New York.

From our very first discussions with the BIG-GAME studio, we established precise and ambitious specifications in terms of comfort, durability and functional efficacy to design our first sofa.

The BIG-GAME trio immediately showed a natural enthusiasm for designing a sofa that goes for the essentials and does away with the superfluous.

The result is called EASY: a timeless design, minutes to assemble, a model of sustainability and everyday comfort.
