Our new SSD bar chair expands our range of bar seating. Available in 2 heights, it is ideally suited to a bar table or high table. This bar chair fits just as well in a dining room as in a kitchen.

The SSD oak bar chair was designed with careful attention to managing our environmental impact throughout the product’s life cycle.

• The seat and backrest of the bar chair are made from eco-certified wood sourced from sustainably managed forests and PEFC-certified (PEFC/07-31-60 certificate).
• The bases are made of steel, a material that is both highly robust and infinitely recyclable (it is the most recycled material in the world).
• The bar chair features few components, all useful, robust and easy to repair if necessary.
• We provide flat-pack delivery to reduce our carbon footprint during storage and shipping, and our packaging is made from 80% recycled paper.

From the very beginning, we chose 100% European responsible production alongside partners with exceptional expertise, with whom we build long-term relationships.

The wooden seat and backrest of the SSD bar chair are made in Poland, the steel legs in Lithuania, while the precision mechanical parts and assembly components come from our family workshops in France, near Chamonix.

Final assembly is carried out in France in an ESAT, a medico-social organisation that works to support the social and professional inclusion of people with disabilities.

The SSDr bar chair is a taller version of our iconic SSDr and its unique design. It was designed with careful attention to managing our environmental impact throughout the product’s life cycle.

Its monochrome look makes it elegant and perfect for a kitchen or restaurant.

The backrest and seat of the bar chair are made from recycled plastic PP (polypropylene) from recycled waste. The legs are made from steel, a material that is both highly durable and infinitely recyclable (it is the most recycled material in the world). The bar chair is made up of few components, all functional, robust and easy to repair if needed.

The SSD high chair is available in 2 sizes:

• 65 cm for worktops between 85 and 95 cm
• 75 cm for bars between 100 and 110 cm

They are compatible with our wall-mounted bar tables and our 90 and 110 cm leg packs and BRACKET wall mount.

The SSD bar seat is available in eco-certified wood or recycled plastic with 3 or 4 colours.
