Tropical ambience at Hélène’s
Welcome to Hélène’s home. A creative who studied art and graphic design, Hélène loves hunting for vintage pieces and mixing styles to create an interior where you feel at home. She shares her inspirations with us, the story behind her TIPTOE creation, and her ideal TIPTOE piece.
Hélène, what’s your story?
I’ve been interested in drawing since childhood. As a student, I studied art and graphic design. I’ve been an art director in digital for 8 years. I love creating and inventing, and discovering new forms of expression.
I live in the Paris suburbs with my husband and our adorable 3-year-old Léon.
Tell us about your tastes and your interior design inspirations.
My interior design inspiration is, above all, a story I share with Simon, my husband. We love hunting for vintage finds. We’re very much driven by instinct and we mix styles. I like lively, colourful interiors, light and plants. I try to make our home feel calming, a place where everyone feels good.
PWhy did you choose TIPTOE legs? What do you like about them, and how do you integrate them into your world?
Our 12 m² living room doesn’t allow for a large coffee table. We wanted something made-to-measure, a piece built to last and adaptable. We were also looking for strong, stable legs for Léon’s arrival.
What TIPTOE creation would you like to make?
A large dining table, a solid wood tabletop sourced from an antique dealer, and Olive Green TIPTOE legs.
