Perrine Bonafos is the editor-in-chief of the media platform Les Confettis, a space for sharing and discovery that presents the journeys of women who are each more inspiring than the last.
In January, she opened the doors of her apartment in the heart of Paris’s 5th arrondissement to us: 70 m² of white parquet flooring, beautiful natural light, and a few touches of color; all elements that transported us, for one morning, on holiday (yes, almost!).

Perrine, tell us about your journey, especially with Les Confettis?
I created the media platform Les Confettis as a source of inspiration. First online, then as a biannual magazine. Focused on women’s journeys, this publication highlights women with varied backgrounds who reveal themselves through their achievements. They may be artists, entrepreneurs, athletes, authors… all of them share how they found their own personal alignment in order to flourish. It feels important to me to show that each of us can take different paths to happiness. And I would even add that it’s also possible to change paths—fortunately, nothing is set in stone.
Today, we’re meeting in your apartment in the heart of Paris. How important is decoration to you?
I like surrounding myself with beautiful things to feel good, and decoration is part of that. For me, our environment contributes to our well-being. It speaks about us and for us. I also like the fact that decoration is constantly evolving, and that we can have fun changing it. It should evolve with our desires and needs. It’s a world that evolves with us!
To satisfy this daily desire to keep evolving your interior, what fuels your inspiration?
The beautiful images you see on Pinterest, Instagram, or in magazines. Conversations, colors, and books, of course.
What is your favorite room in your apartment?
Usually, I’d say the children’s bedroom because it’s the most colorful and very bright. It was a real playground for me. But now that the children are growing up, we’re moving away from the “cute” side because their toys are less decorative. And we’re constantly updating it because they share it and don’t have the same tastes.
Would you say your decorating style reflects who you are? What is your decor must-have?
Good question! I think my interior is soothing and warm, with a little holiday feel. For me, an interior without plants doesn’t feel lived in. I don’t feel good when my interior doesn’t have any. I also need it not to be too cluttered.
What is the must-have TIPTOE piece to have at home? What do our objects inspire in you?
For me, it’s the table leg! Simplicity meets design in the service of function. I love it! Your objects inspire modernity, joy, efficiency, durability, and minimalism.
How did you discover us? What do you like about our objects?
I discovered it when the brand launched and was amazed by the ingenuity of the table leg. I love the idea that the combinations are endless and that everyone can integrate it into their interior according to their needs. For me, every new creation is always just right. I also have a soft spot for the wall shelves—so simple, so beautiful.
