Designed by TIPTOE, the BIG LOU bar stool is a creative piece of furniture that you can either use as a seat with the 110cm TIPTOE legs, a classic bar table or a standing desk. Its recycled plastic seat is made from a hundred yoghurt pots.

In line with TIPTOE’s core values, BIG LOU combines creative design, easy set-up and long-lasting materials. The BIG LOU bar stool is 100% made in Europe.

A unique seat in recycled plastic VENEZIA

The BIG LOU bar stool in recycled plastic VENEZIA is an even more sustainable version of the classic bar stool.

The recycled plastic that composes the seat of the stool comes from yoghurt pots. The coloured shards are clues to the previous life of the plastic.

This unique material is the result of an innovative manufacturing process: the plastic waste is chipped and then pressed (without adding any binder) to form the seat of the stool. Each stool therefore has its own bursts of colour and shades which can vary from one stool to another.

Each VENEZIA stool is unique and unlike any other.

Dimensions and uses

The BIG LOU bar stool can be used with the 110cm TIPTOE legs and all table between 100cm and 115cm height.

For the 90cm TIPTOE table legs, a kitchen counter or a central island, or any table between 85cm and 95cm height, choose the MI LOU counter stool.

For a classic seat, a beside table, a sofa end or a side table, fall for the LOU stool.

Care instructions

Recycled plastic is a noble and innovative material that needs to be cared for. Cleaning with a soft damp cloth is sufficient. We do not recommend the use of chemicals such as solvents, paint removers or strong detergents. Our steel legs are built to last and do not require any special maintenance. If necessary, you can clean them with a microfibre cloth and clean water.
