First of all, could you introduce yourself?
Hello! My name is Chloé Iffly, I’m 26 years old and I’m originally from Pau in the southwest of France. I studied business in Bordeaux and have been living in Paris for over 3 years.
What is your role at TIPTOE?
In July 2019, I joined TIPTOE as part of my end-of-studies marketing internship. I was looking for a small company with strong values and beautiful products. When I discovered TIPTOE, it was love at first sight! At the end of my internship, I was offered the role of Social Media Manager. I (obviously) accepted, and I’ve now been working here for 3 years. What does TIPTOE mean to you?
A positive brand and a passionate team with strong commitments and beautiful shared values. I love TIPTOE objects. They are well thought out, beautiful, and timeless. They come with me every time I move, and I never tire of either the design or the colours.
Do you have an anecdote or a lovely memory to share with us since you joined?
I loved the seminar near Avignon, where we spent 3 days in a gîte cycling, playing pétanque, games, enjoying delicious homemade meals… like a little summer camp! I really like the atmosphere and the kindness within the team. In my opinion, these moments outside of work are important.
What is your relationship with decoration, and what does your home say about you?
I’ve always loved decorating, and I didn’t really know many cutting-edge furniture/design brands before joining TIPTOE. Since then, my taste for interiors has evolved, and I want to invest in beautiful pieces that I’ll keep for life. My apartment is my favorite place; I spend a lot of time there. My essentials are books, magazines, plants, and postcards that I buy during my travels and museum visits.
Which TIPTOE pieces do you think are perfect as Christmas gifts?
Without hesitation, a stool from the TIPTOE x Jean André collaboration. This piece is really cool and I love the idea of engraving on solid wood. Plus, the seats are hand-signed and numbered, and the limited-edition aspect makes the stool unique. The DUKE bench is also a great gift. I find it elegant and very practical! At home, for example, I use it as a decorative bench for plants, magazines… and it also serves as extra seating when I have guests over!

Do you have a great Parisian address to recommend?
The Franco-Japanese restaurant Cuisine, on rue Condorcet in the 9th arrondissement. The ingredients are fresh, so the menu changes often, and the pairings are surprising and well thought out. Another incredible address: Délices de Condorcet, on the same street. It’s a Chinese restaurant. I’ve never had dumplings that were so beautiful and so good. Go for it!
