The UNIT storage system in steel version
The UNIT shelving system comes in steel to offer a monochrome design with clean lines. Designed for effortless modularity, the ladders and shelves form the basis of an intuitive, exposed construction.
Available in a 110 cm height, with or without storage, the low UNIT shelving unit is ideal as a TV stand, chest of drawers, sideboard, or simply as a shelving unit.
A timeless and modular storage system
UNIT is a versatile storage system designed to suit every need.
With its adjustable heights – from 40 to 215cm – and 80cm columns, UNIT offers total flexibility of configuration. The shelves come in a range of timeless colours, carefully chosen to enhance any interior.
The system can be adapted to fit any space, creating a multitude of functional compositions: low shelves, high shelves and desks with an integrated work surface.
A conscientious and durable design
The UNIT system offers optimal use with a minimum of components. Shelf clips make assembly quick and easy, and adjustable feet facilitate adaptation to uneven floors.
100% made in Europe, the storage system consists of shelves, frames and supports in powder-coated steel, guaranteeing strength and durability.
By highlighting the fastening system, Tiptoe shows that function defines form. The positioning pin on each side of the frame ensures the stability of each shelf while underlining the subtlety of the design.
Any questions about the UNIT system ?
The UNIT system has been designed for easy assembly.
The steel structure is reinforced with support bands that can be screwed on using an Allen key. The frames have positioning pins onto which the shelves can be easily clipped.
UNIT shelving units are designed to be freestanding.
However, for safety reasons, we recommend fixing your shelves to the wall for heights exceeding 110cm and configurations with drawers and/or doors. The safety elements (brackets for wall-mounting) will be included in the order but screws and plugs are not supplied. You must provide the appropriate ones for your wall.
Each shelf can support a maximum load of 30 kg, correctly spread over the entire surface.
We strongly discourage you from sitting on the shelves, as they are not suitable for bench use.
