The UNIT storage system
UNIT stands out with its elegant, functional design. Its steel uprights and wooden shelves form the basis of an intuitive, visible construction. UNIT is a modular shelving system designed to last.
Available in two heights (75 or 85cm), with or without storage, the UNIT low shelving unit is ideal for use as a TV stand, chest of drawers, sideboard, or simply as a shelving unit.
A timeless and modular storage system
The UNIT system can be adapted to suit any space, creating low shelving, high shelving and desks. UNIT offers a multitude of possibilities, adapting to your needs :
- Choose your height from 40 to 215 cm
- Add columns of 80 cm
- Add options: drawer cabinet, door cabinet or work shelf
A conscientious and durable design
UNIT is composed of just a few components to guarantee modularity, repairability and recyclability. Shelf clips eliminate the use for screws, making assembly quick and easy. The structure is reinforced by steel support band positioned between each frame.
100% European production: the shelves are made from FSC-certified wood and the structure from powder-coated steel. UNIT is delivered flat-packed to limit our environmental impact during storage and shipping.
An obsession for every detail
Each element of the system has been designed to ensure optimal use
- Elegant bent steel handles
- 10cm extension leg to adjust the height of the lower shelves
- Adjustable foot for uneven floors
- Cable hole (5cm diameter) at the bottom of the door cabinet
Our designers have chosen to leave the positioning pins for installing the shelves visible. Present on both sides of the frame, they reveal an intuitive assembly principle while underlining the subtlety of the design.
Any questions about the UNIT system ?
The UNIT system has been designed for easy assembly.
The steel structure is reinforced with support bands that can be screwed on using an Allen key. The frames have positioning pins onto which the shelves can be easily clipped.
For additional elements such as doors or drawers, a Phillips screwdriver will be required for assembly.
UNIT shelving units are designed to be freestanding.
However, for safety reasons, we recommend fixing your shelves to the wall for heights exceeding 110cm and configurations with drawers and/or doors. The safety elements (brackets for wall-mounting) will be included in the order but screws and plugs are not supplied. You must provide the appropriate ones for your wall.
Each shelf can support a maximum load of 30 kg, correctly spread over the entire surface.
We strongly discourage you from sitting on the shelves, as they are not suitable for bench use.
