Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Ana Gaman. I’m an illustrator, designer, and art director, and I live between Luxembourg and Greece.
How would you describe your creative world?
My visual world celebrates human diversity and the richness of the plant world. My illustrations are both vibrant and bold, combining clean lines with textured touches. I collaborate with start-ups, design agencies, and museums, bringing my touch to branding, publishing, and digital creation projects.
What did you seek to recreate through your work with Tiptoe?
Right now, I’m furnishing my new home, so imagining an interior came quite naturally. I was inspired by Alessandro Mendini’s colorful coffee maker, which set the tone for my palette. For me, a beautiful interior brings together contemporary pieces, like the LOU stool, and vintage-inspired objects. I added rugs with geometric patterns to bring a joyful rhythm to the two illustrated scenes.
Can you share a place where you feel good?
In Copenhagen, I never miss a visit to the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. I love the combination of plants and ancient art, a soothing, timeless atmosphere that reminds me of home.
