Tell us the story behind this project?
Like many people and companies, these lockdown periods gave us the opportunity to question ourselves and reinvent ourselves. Indeed, this period made companies and employees realize that it was possible to work remotely, and more specifically from home. Remote working could therefore be a sustainable solution for today’s workplace.
However, three limitations emerged:
– The need for high-performance IT equipment that can withstand conference calls
– Managing remote collaboration (team management, loss of connection, etc.)
– Home Office equipment suited to intensive use.
It was on this last point that we wanted to provide an innovative solution.
What were the challenges of the project?
Our aim is to enable companies to equip their employees with professional-quality furniture for “Home Office” use.
The idea is to pool needs and obtain advantageous pricing conditions for quality products, while prioritizing aesthetics so that they fit easily into everyone’s home.
Indeed, the lockdown period we have experienced has shown that the workstation must now be integrated into the home over the long term. It therefore needs to be “beautiful,” ergonomic and multi-purpose.
More broadly, just as the office has evolved in recent years toward a “home-like” feel, we are now seeing the home evolve into a multi-purpose space.
What is your position on sustainability in the professional fit-out sector?
The current period has reminded people of the need to take care of our planet and try to contribute to it. We have also seen a collective awakening that has led to the emergence of more eco-friendly solutions, more mutual support, more DIY (Do It Yourself)…
In this context, our offer also had to be responsible. That is why, through our rental offer and an end-of-life reuse approach, our offer becomes eco-responsible and fits perfectly into companies’ CSR initiatives.
